Philadelphia Scooters in "INVINCIBLE"

Look for Philadelphia Scooters in the Disney movie "Invincible", inspired by the true story of Vince Papale, a down-on-his-luck substitute teacher and part-time bartender who fulfills every fan's fantasy of making it from the stands to the roster of his hometown Philadelphia Eagles.

The filming crew shot some background scenes of South Philly along East Passyunk Ave. with time period correct cars and fashions. The crew even glued those winding type dials on the parking meters to cover up the "smart card" slots.

The "Avenue" has come a long way since the seventies, with new shops, restaurants and events. Come on down the the shop, and check out the rebirth of East Passyunk Avenue!

Not sure if we made the cut, or ended up on the cutting room floor, but we're "Galine's Furniture", and no, the scooter is not in the movie.
